Geographic Access Guide
Not all prop firms accept traders from every jurisdiction.
πΊπΈUnited States
US based traders have the broadest access to futures prop firms. Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, E8 Markets (futures division) and several smaller firms all accept US residents without restriction. On the forex and CFD side, the situation is more complex. FTMO operates a separate US entity (FTMO US) through a partnership with OANDA, which imposes different trading conditions than the international version. FundedNext, The5ers, DNA Funded, FundingPips and E8 Markets all accept US traders for their forex and CFD programmes, though most operate through simulated account structures specifically to avoid triggering US securities and derivatives regulations.
πͺπΊEuropean Union
Traders in EU member states generally have access to all major prop firms. FTMO, headquartered in Prague, is the natural home market choice. FundedNext, The5ers, DNA Funded and FundingPips all accept EU residents. The MiCA regulatory framework applies to firms offering crypto asset trading within the EU, which may restrict certain instrument offerings from firms that have not obtained the relevant authorisations.
π¬π§United Kingdom
UK traders have broad access to all firms in this comparison. The FCA's August 2025 multi firm review focused on algorithmic trading controls and marketing practices but has not yet restricted UK trader access to prop evaluations.
πMiddle East & North Africa
FundingPips, headquartered in Dubai, is the natural choice for MENA based traders. FundedNext and The5ers also have strong penetration in the region. Swap free (Islamic) account options are available at several firms, including FundedNext and E8 Markets, for traders who require Shariah compliant trading conditions.
πSoutheast Asia
Search interest in prop trading has grown explosively in Southeast Asia, with Indonesia showing approximately five times year over year growth. FundedNext, FundingPips and DNA Funded all actively serve the region. Payment processing via cryptocurrency is particularly popular in jurisdictions where traditional banking infrastructure makes international wire transfers slow or expensive.

For traders in the United States and Europe, the payout method choice has minimal impact on net proceeds. For traders in Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa and other regions with less integrated banking systems, cryptocurrency and Wise based payouts typically deliver meaningfully higher net receipts than traditional bank wires.
